1940 Era New Mexico Highway 10 Sign Featuring Zia retired_figurine and a blue backgroundHere we have a vintage red and white steel New Mexico State Road Sign with Zia symbol. This sign dates to the late 1940s when the state changed from a small Zia to a larger Zia as seen here. State Road 10 went from Carrizozo, across Route 66, and then on to Santa Fe. State Road 10 was later renumbered to State Road 14 in 1968 to avoid conflict with US Interstate 10. This vintage highway sign would be perfect for the local history buff or someone
