Aechmea chantinii 2020-05-02 and form an upright clusterOne of the most beautiful and popular of all bromeliads. Native to the lower slopes of the Andes and the western Amazon basin from Venezuela to Peru, it is a warm growing epiphyte that climbs over the trunks and limbs of trees on stout stolons. This clone has deep green leaves, evenly banded with silver and is the typical form as most often seen in nature. The form is an upright vase shaped rosette, becoming somewhat bottle shaped before blooming. A
