This is a lovely original 19th century Blanket Box later painted in my preferred style of restoration

A very practical size that can seat 6 to 8 people or can act as the ideal place to spread out the Sunday papers (for those of you who haven't yet gone 100% digital) or maybe even a touch of crafting with the kids

I have painted the body in a pale blue typical of Gustavian furniture of the period and the top in a very deep brown

This is a typically well made solid pine blanket box with a strong structure and base
