Background and flames were done in several masking steps after the foreground and sword were finished with traditional acrylic techniques. I sold the original shortly after its debut at Phoenix Comic Con in 2014. Model is Toni Darling, reference photo used with permission. Prints are still available. It's always a favorite at shows.
