The plastic tests positive for Bakelite using simichrome paste. The marbling in the green Bakelite is lovely the colours range from dark to light green to almost yellow and there are spots of apple juice coloured transparency. This stunning piece shows a wonderful organic style from the beginning of the 20th century. The piece feels
