The late Vietnam watches, designated MIL W 47374A, were the replacement for the earlier plastic models deemed disposable. It is likely that the US government and the watch manufacturers of the time recognized, as we did, that plastic watches were not durable enough for military use. Interestingly, around 20 years ago, we
