He embraces a 'low intervention' ethos, intervening as little as possible and making wines with balance that reflect their natural terroir. For us, his Vinho Verdes are some of the best around. Instantly delicious, incredibly more ish and yet still quite complex, with layers of white peach, crisp green apple and citrus meshing with light, floral notes and a touch of spice.
