It dates to the 18th century and would have come from above a doorway of an Andhra Pradesh home. Constructed from wild jackfruit wood it depicts Lakshmi framed by elephants (Gaja Lakshmi), the attendants, peacocks, lion & monkey carvings are all carved in the typical South Indian style.
