Christopher Barth, Auf dem Grun, 2022 12.5% Complex and dense with amaroThis is a special barrel selection of the Melphyr Riesling from Christopher Barth. Fresh flowers and aromatic green herbs on the nose with bright lime zest and lemongrass. Richer notes of tahini and raw dough give depth and real intensity. It has all the fresh floral and citrus notes of the Melaphyr Riesling but with extra development from an extra winter in large old oak. This wine is made to celebrate the Melaphyr soils Chris has in the vineyards.
