It's not over the top because of the ABV far from it  because the spirit has matured in a much warmer climate so accelerating the maturation process by drawing out the deeper complexity of the casks

Palate: A sweet and tangy orange, spiced raisins, soft fruit and not notes, ginger and salted farmhouse butter, dark berries and rolled tobacco leaf, nutty and fruity leading to a long and balanced finish.
