Closeries des Moussis, Closeries des Moussis Haut Medoc, 2019 bis-hidden with the peat smoke envelopingThe most 'classical' of the Moussis lineup, this has Margaux esque qualities not unlike the Haut Medoc made by Jaugueyron. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, (70%), with a little Merlot and Cab Franc as well. A brilliant melange of black cherries, blackberries and cassis with ascending, graphite like minerality and only the faintest touch of horse saddle. Scrumptious now, but also good to age for 10 20 years.
