A War Merit 1St Class Case In Box Of Issue By Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid Auction with the Dunkirk SeaplanesHardshelled, pebbled exterior, slotted medal bed, push release, 67 mm x 68 mm, tape peeling away over the hinged area and lightly scuffed on the exterior, case better than very fine. In its cardboard box of issue, marked in black ink "KRIEGS VERDIENSTKREUZ 1. KLASSE" on the front panel and maker marked "Steinhauer & Lck Ldenscheid" on the side panel, side flap has separated from the body of the box but remains with it, lightly soiled, box fine.
