Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised and crowned monogram of Duke Wilhelm, surrounded by a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised motto of IMMOTA FIDES (UNWAVERING LOYALTY), above oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 31. 01 mm in
