Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, obverse depicts central gilt mother and shield flanked by initials R and H for Reichs Hebammen (Reich Midwives), on top of a mobile swastika, within blue enameled ring inscribed IM DIENSTE DER ZUKUNFT UNSERES VOLKES (IN SERVICE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR PEOPLE), unmarked, measuring 43 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
