Vintage M-51 US Army Field Jacket greatful dead jewelry more like the 1947 fitThe M 51 Field Jacket was an improvement on the WW2 field jacket named M 43. One of the most obvious changes compared to its predecessor is that the pocket flaps have a more square shape where the M 43 had curved corners that most likely came form the 30s style of pocket flaps and collar shapes. The jacket is made in windproof cotton sateen cloth and features four pockets on the front and a drawstring waist. It remained in service until it was
