Germany, HJ. A Bund Deutscher Mädel Proficiency Clasp, Bronze Grade, by Ferdinand Hoffstätter Hold reverse illustrating the right-facing bust(BDM Leistungsabzeichen). Instituted 1 June 1934 by Baldur von Schirach. (1934 1945). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a rectangular plaque surrounding initials BDM, inset with an original ribbon, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 15 for Ferdinand Hoffsttter, Bonn, measuring 28 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
