For installation the QR 2 assembly is threaded between the 7 8" tube and base of the mic stand (MS10C, MS10CE, MS12C, MS12CE). After the show, the technician simply steps on the low profile outer release ring of the QR 2 allowing the entire upper tube assembly to be
