A well preserved Ordnungspolizei NCOs Bergmtze (mountain cap), constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, with frontal scalloping, providing optional ear and neck protection for the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured in place with a pebbled field grey zink button meeting on the right flap meeting a reinforced buttonhole on the left
