Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Maltese Cross with black and red enameled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilt swastika defaced by a Wolfsangel, situated above a semi circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse overlaid by a
