Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a raised skull and crossbones, overlaid by a vertical sword bearing a sunwheel style swastika at the ricasso, in turn plunging into a nest of vipers, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating
