A noted filmmaker, entrepreneur, and environmental advocate, Burtynsky is known internationally for his large scale images documenting the interaction of industry and natural resources. Although Burtynsky is a celebrated landscape photographer, in 2007, he was commissioned by David Mirvish to create the Royal Alexandra portfolio in celebration of the theatre's 100 year
