Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s M44 Field Cap certificate_of_authenticity in western Hungary(Einheitsfeldmtze M44). A very well preserved Heer EM NCOs M44 field cap, constructed of grey brown wool twill. It features fold down side panels, scalloped at the front, offering optional ear and neck protection for the wearer. When not in use, the panels roll up and are secured in place with a single pebbled zink button on the right flap meeting a reinforcement buttonhole set into the left flap.
