The round leaves emerge rich burgundy and gradually turn blue green in late summer before exploding into scarlet, orange, and yellow for fall. Dramatic airy red pink hair billows from the tiny yellow flowers from late spring to midsummer attracting butterflies. Best blooms occur in full sun and well drained soil. Syn. with Cotinus 'Londus'.
