Michel Gahier, Arbois Rouge Trousseau La Vigne du Louis, 2024 NO UPC Drink it in 8–10 yearsNamed after Michel's brother Louis, to whom the vineyard is leased, La Vigne du Louis sits on a northeast facing slope requiring later harvest than other reds. The vines are nearly 60 years old with deep root systems drawing complexity from the terroir. Lighter in color and structure than Gahier's Grands Vergers, the wine offers vibrant freshness, smokiness, and cherry notes with silky tannins. Gahier prefers this cuve with four to five years of age,
