A Most Noble Order Of The Garter, C.1890 Auction Archive All reverses have been leftA 19th Century Garter, in blue silk with embroidered with silver gilt wire, fitted with silver gilt buckle and iron pin, measuring 49. 7 cm (l) x 2. 0 cm (w), with small period repair, otherwise extremely fine. This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr. Goodwin between 1946 1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent
