the reverse plain with a full banjo-style vertical pinback and barrel hinge with a round wire catch in “Type A” style

Millers Archive The felt around the edgesIn silver gilt, the obverse bears the Latvian coat of arms, the three stars of the coat of arms have rays dispersing from them, below is a diamond shaped medallion with the cipher KTK, all encompassed by a wreath of oak leaves, with multiple cut out details, the reverse is plain and bears the silver mark 875 and V. M with a screwback, with a plain plate engraved with PVLKV. G. KIKULS (Colonel G. Kikuls), and a second plate marked V. F. MILLERS RIGA,
