The band shaped sleeves, flowing backward along the armhole, were inspired by sculptor Isamu Noguchi's work Energy Void. Based on his perspective that VOID in sculpture is not merely a state of nothingness, but rather an essential element that constitutes space and shape, including that very absence, it has been elevated into design.
