CA designer wool/cotton clipped weave - pewter 2 yd suitings opaque and malleable with bodyFrom designer deadstock, made in Switzerland, this is a wonderful dress weight woven with a clipped jacquard design in nearly equal parts wool and cotton. The pattern forms organic shapes which resemble animal spots or river rocks in near black, dark gray and silvery gray for an overall impression of pewter (18 4005). The clipped threads are pulled through on the face of this fabric only, so the back side is smooth but shows a muted version of the
