The exterior layer is silk and the interior is 100% polyester. Even with the shoulder pads, it's extremely lightweight. Note, this is almost 40 years old. There is minor pulling in the silk over right shoulder. Measurements (approximate): Shoulder to shoulder: 15" Bust: 32" Waist: 26" Hip: 26" Length: 42" This piece has no stretch. Made in Canada
